First and foremost, a big “thank you” to the Ruta Community for coming out in droves and supporting the restaurant and staff as we fell hard into this uncertainty. Your continued patronage kept our doors open, the employees happy, and the continued “50 Years of Business” going on — whew! What a way to celebrate, right?
As we ease back into serving you in a sit-down atmosphere, we have to take it slowly and with much caution. Please know that we are ALL aware of the latest CDC Guidelines and are following them as mandated. As a restaurant, we have always had high standards of cleanliness; we are now on an even more heightened awareness of this and make it our highest priority — to keep you in a safe and sanitized environment.
- Masks for all! Employees and customers are required to wear face coverings at all times, unless you are seated to eat.
- Six feet minimum physical distancing is to be practiced between us, you, and other guests not in your party.
- If you are sick or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you stay home, as we have asked our employees to do the same should they be sick or exhibit any sickly symptoms.
- First come, first served.
- If you have to wait, we ask that you do so outside or where directed.
- No large groups. Parties are capped at six people inside, four people outside.
- Sorry, no dogs at this time.
- Since we have fewer table options, we ask that you be mindful of the time you are sitting if there are other guests waiting.
- Employees will be cleaning and sanitizing tables and chairs between every seating.
- Employees will be utilizing hand washing and hand sanitizer during their interaction with you.
- Condiment containers, available upon request, will be sanitized prior to each use.
- Restrooms and areas of high traffic will be regularly cleaned and sanitized.
- Hand sanitizer dispensers are available at points of entry and exit.
- We do not offer curbside service but highly encourage you to order ahead so we can have it ready when you arrive. The restaurant floor is marked for safe distancing and we offer contact-less payment by credit card when you arrive. Or, we can take cash if you’d like.
- Our utmost concern is for your feeling of being in a surrounding that is “safe, clean, and sanitized”, and knowing we are operating within the confines of the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Orders and within the latest Guidelines of the CDC.
Thank you for entrusting us to wait on you and your loved ones in our safe home we call “RUTABEGORZ.”
